Abstract
Many desktop applications such as word processors and spreadsheets allow users to print documents via a printer or copier. In this chapter, you learn how to send HTML documents and JavaFX nodes to a printer. JavaFX printing APIs (javafx.print) have been around since JavaFX 8 and they allow application developers to query available printers, set up printers, and generate print jobs. In this chapter, you explore JavaFX’s printing APIs and end the chapter with a Web browser-like application to scale and print web content.
