Abstract
Backdrop provides a relatively easy migration path for those interested in moving from Drupal 7 to Backdrop. The migration effort is on the same order of magnitude as migrating a Drupal site to the next version of Drupal, with a few minor differences in the availability of equivalent contributed modules. Backdrop is relatively new and does not have the inventory of contributed modules that Drupal does.
