Abstract
We have discussed common pitfalls such as lack of clarity in scope, budget, schedule, planning, and lack of solution validation, stakeholder responsibilities, and skills, all of which plague SAP implementation projects. Now, let us discuss strategies and best practices on how to manage challenges that arise during an SAP implementation project with risk mitigation planning. We will also discuss various approaches to global template development plans, rollout strategies with SAP Landscape design principles, and key business process integration based on real-life lessons learned. We will examine a specific solution plan in SAP to mitigate the risks of a failed implementation with key challenges.
