Abstract

Google Cloud Platform provides several tools that aid in managing the lifecycle of other types of resources such as compute, storage, analytics, and orchestration. This chapter introduces you to a few of these core tools. The primary tool you learn about is the Google Cloud Deployment Manager. After that, you’re introduced to tools that assist in source and binary code management and that can help you discover security vulnerabilities and identify performance bottlenecks.
