Abstract
is a widely used term that refers broadly to huge (and growing) datasets that no traditional data-processing application is able to capture, store, curate, analyze, and visualize in real time. Simply put, the data’s rate of growth is so high that the tools cannot process incoming data, and the gap between processed and unprocessed data keeps increasing forever.
