Abstract

This chapter is about working with polynomials and algebraic extensions. We will study the MATLAB commands that enable you to perform polynomial operations, working with roots, Galois extensions, Gröbner bases, polynomial interpolation, and operations modulo an integer. We will also present the commands that Maple implements to the same effect.
