Getting Started with DSC
When I begin to learn a new technology, I usually start with the architecture. Understanding the architecture and the components within it helps to make better use of the technology. Also, when I am faced with issues, it helps me to go deeper into the problems at hand and determine their cause. Desired State Configuration (DSC) is no exception. DSC depends on such technologies as WinRM and CIM and has different components that make up the stack. Understanding the overall DSC component architecture helps users to gain deeper knowledge of DSC.
