Dementia and Psychological Testing

  • Allen Jack Edwards
Part of the Perspectives on Individual Differences book series (PIDF)

The evaluation of test results by psychologists is extensive. Included in the process are a variety of measures that may be used in decision making about the type and degree of mental incompetence found in the dementias. Most of these tests were not designed for this specific purpose, but they have either been accepted as appropriate to the purpose or have been adapted to the decision-making process.
