Abstract
This paper describes the different tests which have been made to qualify for the MARS 96 space mission the 7056 SIGNAAL USFA tactical cooler, such as:
-
thermal vacuum tests;
-
thermal cycling tests;
-
lifetime tests,
-
integration and detector compatibility tests,
-
launch vibration tests;
-
induced vibration tests.
