An argument has been developed (Boarder, 1995(b)) for resolving the implicit convolution in the terms systems and systems engineering.’ system engineering’, it is concluded, is a process conducted over a’ systems engineering’ position.’ system engineering’ differentiates and integrates, with respect to a specific system requirement, diverse issues while delivering emergent properties into an environment and satisfying laws of traceability and tractability.
