Abstract

Well developed problem solving skills are vital possessions that all successful managers must hold. This is because managers essentially are problem solvers. Complementing, expanding and improving problem solving skills will help managers to cope even more effectively with organisational problems that they face and will broaden their perspective on how to face them.
