Abstract
In many ways, integrative models of psychc therapy are well suited for the tasks of concef tualizing child psychopathology and child ther apy. This chapter will attempt to outline th unique demands of child therapeutic work and t demonstrate the appropriateness of the integn tive approach for such work. Specific types an sequences of intervention will be outlined an demonstrated through case examples. It is hope that the adoption of an integrative approach t child psychotherapy will add a sense of cohesio to the many roles of a child therapist.
