Abstract

In some years a vermiform larval sea anemone is abundant inside the ctenophore Mnemiopsis leidyi in the Woods Hole, Massachusetts region. This report deals with the identification of its adult form, its occurrence over the years and the extent of infection of the host, observations on penetration of the host, and data on the time required for development to the adult stage.
