Intraspecific Variability of Zooplankton Feeding in the Hermatypic Coral Montastrea Cavernosa

Zooplankton feeding is a readily observed characteristic of many species of corals, but the importance of this mode of feeding has yet to be determined. The present study reports on the effects of intraspecific variability on zooplankton feeding in the reef coral Montastrea cavernosa and discusses the influence of this variability on the ecologic significance of planktivory.
