Abstract
The following dream was reported by a 17-year-old:
I was in this white room with nothing in it. You know sort of blank and empty and nobody and nothing in it, it was totally empty except for these white walls. I was dreaming that he was coming after me and I just couldn’t get away. [I] kept getting away and getting away, trying to keep myself from him. I remember waking up with all sorts of scratches on my face where I kept clawing myself, trying to make myself ugly so he wouldn’t touch me.
