CD26/Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV in Lymphocyte Growth Regulation

  • Chapter
Book cover Cellular Peptidases in Immune Functions and Diseases

Abstract

T lymphocyte activation is controlled by the T cell antigen receptor-CD3 complex and a number of accessory molecules on the surface of lymphocytes which are triggered by special ligands outside of the cell. During the last years, there has been a considerable progress in the identification of these accessory structures and the mechanisms of their actions.
