Abstract
It is useful to conclude this book with some general remarks to show what physical methods can contribute to catalysis. Physical methods contribute mainly to the description of the catalyst and to a lesser extent to that of the reagent in interaction with the catalyst. This stems from the technical difficulties encountered when adapting the physical methods to the conditions of catalytic reactions.
