Uptake and Distribution of the Boron Containing Ether Lipid B-ET-11-OMe in Tumor Bearing Mice

A Preliminary Study

  • Chapter
Cancer Neutron Capture Therapy

Abstract

The prospect of successful implementation of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) depends strongly on the availability of boron containing substances which accumulate preferentially within tumor cells. This can probably be realized by use of ether lipids.
