Abstract

Helicobacter pylori is a cause of gastritis, peptic ulcer and is a co-factor in the pathogenesis of gastric cancer3,5. The accurate detection of H.pylori is performed by gastroscopy, histology of mucosal biopsy and cultures5. The diagnosis criteria were set by the American Consensus Conference2.
