Abstract

A small ad hoc workshop was organised on toxins produced by Campylobacter. From the small number of posters on toxins and their function presented at the meeting, the false conclusion could be drawn that the topic had lost interest or relevance. However, recently, new cytotoxins and hemolysins have been described, and some results were presented at the meeting.
