Abstract

There are all kinds of behaviour modification methods and techniques — whether cognitive in approach or not — which from scientific study have been found to be effective. A significant number of these effective treatments were also maintained over the long term and became generalised or transferred to new situations. This type of effectiveness has been found in particular among mentally normal and slightly mentally disabled children who have shown modified behaviour in the classroom.
