Abstract
Therapy for breathing-related disorders is still a developing field; professional opinions on treatment strategies are divided, and there is even a lack of consensus among experts on diagnostic procedure for some of these disorders. Consequently much of this chapter, reflecting the state of an emergent field, reviews in detail the competing approaches, problem areas, and topics that are still being argued over and that need further research.
