Strategies occur as a result of leadership attempts to change the organizational structure. This happens when leadership wants to produce different results and to balance the needs of the external and/or internal cultures. A strategy is a process, a formal or informal analysis and execution. People in either the external or internal environment use strategy to develop and implement a plan. The plan may maintain the status quo, or it may resolve a perceived or real problem.
