Abstract
For real amplifiers in optical soliton communication system, the gains fluctuation unavoidably induce noise added to the ASE noise. Here, we give theoretical analysis on it, derive a formula describing it. From numerical results, it seems that the effects of gain fluctuation on the soliton systems is not so seriously as estimated.
