Abstract
In this paper, a new optical pressure measurement system will be described. Pressure distributions measured with this technique are presented and compared with those measured by conventional pressure taps. The tests showed that the OPMS measurements of surface pressure distribution were comparable to those measured by conventional methods. However the OPMS offers a complete static pressure mapping and pressure visualization on the surface of the model.
