Conference paper

Polypropylene fibers and yarns have continued to gain increasing acceptance in a wide variety of applications and uses. This is a result of a series of technological advances in polymer and fiber manufacturing processes which have taken place over a period of time. In addition, considerable effort has been devoted to the engineering of fiber properties to meet specific requirements. Among the responsible factors that play a subtle but predominant role in this successful development is that of fiber finish.
