Data acquisition developments have gone hand in hand with new methods of morphometric analysis. The articles in this section by Becerra, Dean, Demeter et al., and Garcia-Valdecasas address new needs and developments in data acquisition. The article by Carpenter et al. provides the explanation for software to convert distance data to coordinate data where possible.
