Abstract
Toshiba Corporation has fabricated a thin superconducting solenoid 1–3 for the upgraded tracking system of the DØ Detector at the Fermilab Proton-Antiproton Collider. The magnet was successfully tested at the Toshiba Keihin Works in Yokohama before it was shipped to the US. The results of the Keihin tests are presented.
