Special Relativity — Kinetics
Chapter
Abstract
Kinetics is the study of the motion of material objects under the action of forces. Forces cause objects to accelerate, that is, to change their velocity. In spacetime, acceleration makes worldlines curve. In this way the physics of forces is tied to the geometry of spacetime. The starting point is Newton’s three laws of motion.
