The Leningrad Experiment on Volume Capture

  • Chapter
Relativistic Channeling

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSB,volume 165))

Abstract

Since their introduction in the 1960s, experiments studying particle channeling in single crystals have developed in many directions. On the basis of the channeling effects for lowenergy particles, numerous techniques have been developed and implemented to study crystal structure and degree of perfection, as well as various physical processes taking place inside crystals.
