Abstract

At the end of the last chapter, a few issues were discussed that are not connected directly with the metallic point contacts; the main topic of this book, however, is the logical development of the point-contact technique. In this chapter, we describe additionally some new trends of research that have been growing by further developing or application of the point contacts.
