Abstract
The UKFEL is a major collaborative project between (principally) Heriot-Watt University, Glasgow University and Daresbury Laboratory. One of the key features of the project is that the electron linear accelerator at the Glasgow Kelvin Laboratory is virtually fully dedicated to the project.
