Abstract
We discuss the various decay modes of a quasi-molecule, to be written as “D2” in which a deuteron is replaced by a meso-molecule (mm) which is (dtμ) or (ddμ) in its 4th excited state. This state has quantum numbers: rotational A.M.=1, number of vibration quanta=1, and is denoted as (dtμ)11. For definiteness we refer to the (dtμ) case, but these general remarks apply equally to the (ddμ) case, unless specified otherwise.
