Abstract
Once management has made the commitment to quality assurance and a quality assurance officer has been appointed it is time to get the program up and running. This chapter will deal with some tried and proven techniques and guidelines to accomplish this. It will be assumed that the laboratory has little or no quality assurance program to begin with and wishes to establish a rather rigorous program.
