Abstract

Creativity is a debased term. Intellectual productivity is the best term for what we have in mind in this chapter. Intellectually productive people work to produce useful new ideas. Some examples of intellectually productive people are scientists doing original research, authors writing imaginative literature, political workers devising new solutions to social problems, and mediators proposing ways to resolve conflicts between parties.
