Recent advances in the application of immobilized enzymes have made enzyme-based reactions more economical and much more flexible. Now, however, it is becoming apparent that if the potential of the more complex immobilized enzymes is to be fully realized, then a more economic and controlled use of coenzymes must also be achieved.
