Abstract
The electrochemical preparation of membranes from fibrous proteins such as collagen and fibroin has been developed in our laboratory (1,2). This is an effective technique for the immobilization of enzymes in collagen membranes without the loss of enzymatic activity (3). Control of activity of immobilized enzymes is desirable for their use in enzyme reactors.
