Having studied the separate components of a data acquisition system, we now consider the errors which are inherent in all sampled data systems. These are sampling and quantization errors. They can be reduced, but not eliminated. Examples of the design of complete systems are considered in which these errors are reduced to a level which is tolerable for each particular application.
