Diet Instruction for Japanese Traditional Food in Therapy for Atopic Dermatitis

Abstract

Atopic dermatitis is a disease that has chronic recurrent eczematous lesions as the main symptoms, 1 and its progression to intractable cases has become a severe problem in recent years.2 Detection and elimination of allergens and aggravating factors, external treatment mainly through the use of topical steroids, oral administration of antipurtic drugs, and proper skin care are the first choices of treatment. For cases that do not respond to these efforts, we have been performing concomitant Japanese traditional herbal treatment for more than 20 years.3
