Abstract

Elderly adults may express their sexuality within a variety of interpersonal paradigms including long-term marriage, gay or lesbian relationships, bisexual relationships, second (or third or fourth) marriages, affairs outside of marriage, and various dating arrangements. Just as older adults themselves are not stereotypically traditional, neither are their intimate relationships.
