Pulsed High-Frequency EPR

  • Chapter
Very High Frequency (VHF) ESR/EPR

Part of the book series: Biological Magnetic Resonance ((BIMR,volume 22))

Abstract

Pulsed high-field / high-frequency EPR offers the possibility to detect coherences and relaxation properties in disordered samples in much detail. The reason is the spectrally resolved G-tensor, which allows to obtain orientation dependent information even in disordered samples, like proteins. The use of the typical pulsed EPR measurements at high magnetic fields will be discussed and application examples will be given.
