Abstract
The search for a lost Andersen manuscript—a presumptive lost manuscript—was not going well. Random inquiry with book dealers led to raised eyebrows and a polite cup of coffee but nothing more. One dealer suggested that Lucas contact a certain Helger Helgerssen, an heir to beer and shipping fortunes, who was a collector of first editions. The dealer said that Helgerssen was a very knowledgeable and accommodating man.
