Abstract

It took several days for Lucas Fysst to recover from the fatigue of his maiden acting experience. As he told his wife much later, he had gained a new appreciation of what is involved in that profession. Thomas Gray, on the other hand, was up and around without an ache in her bones. About a week after the shooting, Karen rang up Lucas and said she needed to return to check out a few details. He invited her for supper at the Cafe Italiano across the canal on Tolbodgade.
