Abstract

In this chapter we give some of the significant classical applications of Theorems A and B. Along with the Cousin problems and the Poincaré problem, we carry out a detailed discussion of Stein algebras. We also become quite involved with the problem of topologizing the module of sections S(X) of a coherent sheaf.
