We are approaching the limits of our journey with the two-body problem. The mechanics that cast asunder the ancient cosmos has borne us upon this journey. Looking back, one finds the static heavenly spheres gave way to a universal law sustaining all motion: the universe unfolds along the paths of least action of all its matter. The diversity and richness of the heavens and the elements are born out of the unity and simplicity of electrons and nuclei bound by gravity and electricity.
