Abstract

The aim of these four sessions was to discuss various aspects of why, when and how probability and statistics should be taught at the school level. The sessions were organised by the International Statistical Institute Task Force on International Conferences on Teaching Statistics whose members are: Lennart Räde (Sweden), Chairman, Peter Holmes (UK), Gottfried Noether (USA), John Oyelese (Nigeria).
