Abstract

As there were few positive responses from individuals invited to present papers for this Topic Area, only one of the four sessions allotted was used. Despite this apparent lack of interest and concern prior to the Congress, this session was well attended by over 160 participants. It should also be noted that the teaching of geometry received considerable attention in several of the Action Groups.
