Action Group 7: Mathematics in Adult, Technical and Vocational Education

Prior to ICME 5, mathematics education in technical, vocational and adult education had not been included as a major area for discussion and debate. There were however, reflections and presentations referring to these subjects in the previous Congresses but under different headings. As ICME 5 is the first Congress to tackle these subjects as a whole, an attempt to describe them seems necessary.
