Abstract

The following discussion attempts to clarify and summarize the thesis of this book by presenting the basic assumptions underlying the neuropsychological approach to understanding and treating learning disabilities.

We find it a clinical and scientific advantage to acknowledge that there is both a neurology and psychology of learning... when we combine psychologic and neurologic constructs, we gain new insights into the differing types of learning disabilities.
