Abstract
The routine health assessment of any patient should include inquiries about symptoms related to the breast, previous breast surgery, pertinent family history (age of any first degree female relatives—mother or sisters—with breast cancer and the age at which their cancer or cancers developed in relation to menopause), pain, mass, or discharge (Table 108.1).
